Join us for an intimate evening of soul-deep connection through spoken word in Poetry Saves Lives, a community poetry sharing circle.

This is San Diego's most intimate open poetry reading.

There’s no mic. Just your voice, your truth, and the powerful act of listening.

This is a space for authenticity, vulnerability, and community.

No poetry experience necessary—just a willingness to speak and be heard.

Gather in sacred space—Moroccan style—with cozy pillows, rugs, and barefoot presence. Dress comfortably, as we’ll sit together on the floor in a circle, sharing poems straight from the heart. Whether you bring a piece you’ve been working on or allow the moment to move you, this gathering honors your unique voice. Each participant will receive a copy of the Poetry Saves Lives interactive poetry journal by local poet, Typewriter Troubadour, filled with 100+ prompts to inspire self-reflection, healing, and creative flow.

What to Expect:

• A sacred circle format with intentional sharing
• Moroccan-style floor seating (some yoga mats & pillows provided)
• A copy of the Poetry Saves Lives poetry journal (included with premium ticket)
• An unplugged, mic-free space to cultivate deep connection and active listening

Please Bring:

• A poem to share in sacred circle
• Comfortable clothing, pillows, blankets for sitting on the floor
• A journal or notebook & pen (optional)
• An open heart and listening ears
