WHAT TO EXPECT:
❤️Meetings are a great way to learn about babywearing and also meet other caregivers with children of similar ages and stages as yours!
❤️ We will start with a “Babywearing 101” demonstration of all the types of carriers in the lending library, followed by a short explanation of how San Diego Carries membership and the lending library work.
❤️ If enough educators are available they will then break off into the different carrier types (ring sling, meh dais, buckle carriers, and wraps) and be available for mini workshops for that particular carrier.

‼️Please bring a mask with you just in case you need fit help from an educator who requests the extra protection. Please ask your carrier fitter if you would like them to wear one as well.
‼️ If you or any children you plan to bring have symptoms of ANY illness please stay home.
‼️ We have limited registration spots available based on the number of volunteers on hand. This number may fluctuate.
We thank you for your patience and understanding. Unfortunately, our team suffered greatly losing a board member (and mother of two young children) to Covid-19. If the terms that allow our volunteers to be comfortable returning to this outreach are not in line with your values, then it might not be the best fit for your family. We will update the public if our rules change, but are currently not soliciting feedback.
JOINING THE LENDING LIBRARY:
To make the process easier, please sign up online 24 hours before the meeting.

2. Click the CREATE ACCOUNT button on the top right corner of the page and fill in the required fields.
3. We are currently only offering monthly $10 library check-outs. There will be no annual memberships at this time.
4. PayPal will be the only method of payment at this time. You do not need an account to use PayPal. It will allow any payment method you choose to pay the invoice.
More lending library info:
1) We will not be doing check outs before the demo.
2) All carriers turned in past their due date will accrue a $1/day late fee.
3) All carriers are first come, first serve and we will not allow holds prior to the meeting. Carriers can only be checked out during designated Lending Library meetings.
