Interwoven: Teen Climb with Dad

This outreach experience is open to SERVICE MEMBERS and their Teens and Adult Children within the Special Operations Forces Community.

About this Event

Interwoven: Climb with Dad

Special Operations Dad's and their children are invited to summon their courage and step out of their comfort zone into an experience that requires patience, trust and positive self talk. Participants are invited to embrace the opportunity to climb to new heights both physically and mentally at Mesa Rim Climbing Gym. This physical activity depends upon thoughtful movement, careful planning of next steps, and trust in your belay partner.

To encourage one on one connection and quality time, Dads are asked to bring one child. The child must be 12 years of age or older.

While this activity requires courage to climb, this time spent with The Station Foundation emphasizes the importance of courage in setting boundaries that enable healthy life balance. Placing our well being on the calendar as an equally important placeholder is the first step in setting limits. Identifying our needs as a priority helps us breathe into the boundaries established and thrive in life's adversities.

8:15- 8:30 AM: Arrival and Introductions
8:30- 8:45 AM: Belay and Rock Climbing Instruction
8:45- 10:00 PAM: Climbing

Participant will also be given a day pass to Mesa Rim for the remainder of May 31, 2025.

Event Details:
Refreshments will be served at this event.
Please wear comfortable clothing and socks.
No previous experience is necessary.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 14. We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours prior to the event. Thank you for your consideration.
