Join us on July 16 for a thoughtful and engaging lecture with Dr. Suzie Whitelaw, a leading voice in coastal restoration and environmental stewardship. With over 40 years of experience in marine sedimentology and wetland remediation, Dr. Whitelaw will discuss the urgent efforts to restore San Clemente’s eroding beaches—and why this work matters not just for today, but for the generations that follow.
From her time as a Chief Scientist aboard USC’s R.V. Velero IV to her service as Co-Founder & President of Save Our Beaches San Clemente, Dr. Whitelaw brings unmatched expertise and passion to the conversation. This lecture is perfect for anyone curious about coastal science, environmental advocacy, or the future of our beloved shorelines.
