Timeless Journeys Closing - Artists Talk

Join us for an engaging Artist Talk exploring the flow of cultural expression and layered abstraction in the work of San Antonio Latina artists Thelma Muraida and Loretta Medellin. Moderated by artist M. Guadalupe Marmolejo, the conversation offers insight into identity, memory, and the art of transformation.

About the moderator: Drawing on her background as a successful advertising executive, M. Guadalupe Marmolejo brings a high level of professionalism to her role as a moderator. Originally from Mexico, she has called San Antonio home since 2008. Marmolejo is a longtime member of GAGA (Gentileschi Aegis Gallery Association), San Antonio’s prominent women’s art organization, to which both artists featured in Timeless Journeys also belong. An accomplished artist herself, her work has been exhibited at notable venues including Centro de Artes, the San Antonio Art League and Museum, and the Culture Commons Gallery at Plaza de Armas, among others.
