What is Y'all Sing?

Y'all Sing! is a drop-in choir where we pick a popular song (think karaoke tunes from folks like Tina Turner, Ricky Martin, Three Non Blondes), we listen to the song before we arrive, receive a lyric sheet upon arrival, learn the song in 2-4 part harmony together, and document our creation with audio/video/photos. No audition, no judgment, all fun. Proceeds are donated to a local organization. Great for our bodies, minds, hearts and spirits on so many levels, we love getting together to sing!

Next Y'all Sing

The next Y'all Sing! will be held at Mercury Project on Friday, May 23rd from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Come early to check out the space and hang with other participants. Doors open at 6:30pm. Admission is sliding scale for adults ($11-33 per person, $22 recommended. If you'd like to come but can't make the current sliding scale, no worries! Reach out to us at eWFsbHNpbmdzYSB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t. No one is turned away for lack of funds.), free for kids under 12, and capped at 50 people. Some chairs are provided, if you need to sit try to arrive early, bring your own, or let us know and we can make sure you get a seat.

How to Prep for Y'all Sing

Listen to the song a bunch before you come! We will not be learning the song, but the harmonies to the song, so it's important to already know the song as best you can. We learn aurally at Y'all Sing (by ear) and use a lyric sheet to help us with the words, so whether you read music or not, you'll still be able to learn the parts.
