Let’s Get Knotty-Rope Bondage for Beginners w/ San Antonio Shibari Sisters

May we inquire as to what aspects of tying or being tied you find enjoyable? Is it the aesthetic appeal, emotional connection, communication, pain play, dominance and submission dynamics, eroticism, exposure, vulnerability, or surrender?

Despite the abundance of information available online, it can be quite challenging to find reliable and high-quality sources on shibari and related rope play. If you are genuinely interested in exploring this practice, we invite you to join us for Basic Floor Ties at Love Shack Boutique.

During this session, we will begin with a few ties that are best suited for beginners, such as the single- and double-column ties. We will also cover important topics such as consent, communication, and safety, as well as rope handling skills and ideas for rope play. Additionally, we will examine the anatomy and safety concerns associated with rope bondage.

Prerequisite: None. This workshop is appropriate for all genders, sexual orientations, and body types.

Must sign a waiver.

30ft. rope will be provided for you to use and take home to practice.

If you want to also bring:

Your own rope, cotton, hemp, or jute (1-2) 25'-30' lengths of soft rope, 5 or 6 mm in diameter.
