June swing dance lessons and DJ social dance *Student Night*

1st Monday Night Swing of June! Start your summer out on the dance floor to get your steps in and learn some new moves along the way! Socialize and swing dance in the AC and bring snacks to share.

Come join us each Monday night at the Firefighters Banquet Hall. Each week will start with classes that brush up and build on as the month proceeds. Please arrive early, classes will begin promptly at 7pm.

1st Monday is student night, free entry with a valid student ID!
DJ Gilbert will be spinning the swing for our social dance tonight!


🕺 June Dance Classes
East Coast 1
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Marissa & Torrey
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement.

East Coast 2
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Jonathan & Ale
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: A more advanced class, for those with a firm grasp of the basics class and feel confident with the triple step. Progress your knowledge with additional flourishes on your 6-count moves.

Solo Jazz
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: Sheri or Leslie
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Quickly becoming a fan favorite class for dancers of all levels! For those wanting to build confidence in their solo dance steps that can be added to partner dancing or performed independently. Derived from a blending of tap and jazz moves, you will learn steps seen in line dances like the Shim Sham and Tranky Doo!

NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule. Each of our instructors began at the exact same place as you did!

🧭 LOCATION:
The San Antonio Fire Fighter's Banquet Hall is located on the access road of West I-10 right next to the ramp that leads down from Medical Drive on the right side.


🚗 PARKING:
The SAFFBH parking can fit up to 100 vehicles. The parking lot is directly outside of the building on the left side. There is also additional parking on the right side.


🍺 𝐁.𝐘.𝐎.𝐁.
We have been given permission from the SA Firefighters Association to allow our guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages. Water bottles & sodas will remain for sale.


NOTE: We have the right to deny entry or to escort guests out of the premises if we feel they are above the legal intoxication limit, are disturbing the peace, or are attempting to serve alcohol to minors. Keep in mind that this is an all-ages event and while we allow adults to bring their own beverages we must remind everyone to be responsible and follow the law.
