Arlene has over 30 years of experience in the grant funding, organizational leadership and development industry, working with nonprofit organizations, for-profit businesses, higher education institutions, government, and individuals. Beyond her professional pursuits, Arlene is a dedicated social advocate who finds joy in family, dance, and community engagement.

Daniela Paz is a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to community impact. As Chief Operations Officer for Ascend Nonprofit and Business Solutions, she leads a high-performing team, implements workflows, streamlines processes to optimize productivity and increased client satisfaction. Daniela also oversees grant compliance services, ensuring adherence to funder requirements. With over a decade of experience specializing in financial integrity, funder compliance, and systems management within the nonprofit sector, Daniela specializes in maintaining funding sustainability, ensuring data integrity, and fostering long-term relationships with funders. Previously, as VP of Special Programs and Compliance at LiftFund, she implemented efficiency projects, led audits, ensured compliance, and assisted with treasury negotiations.
