Disco Alfresco with Jake Gatewood

Disco Alfresco, formerly known as SoundCream Sunset Sessions, transforms Civic Park into an open-air dance floor every Thursday evening in June and July. With world-class DJs, family-friendly vibes, and sunsets that melt into disco lights, this free event turns Hemisfair into San Antonio’s summer dance destination. Powered by the SoundCream Airstream and energized by DJs from Texas, Los Angeles, and New York. No shoes required.

Jakegatewood is the Texas-based hybrid producer, DJ & artist whose dance-floor tracks have been taking over clubs around the world. As an artist & curator, Jake has toured & performed alongside artists such as Marc Rebillet, Yung Bae, Coco & Breezy and many others. Since 2022, Jake’s house music label & concert series “Take a Break” has taken the South by storm – selling out 20 consecutive headline events.

In 2025, Jake announced an exclusive partnership with Apple Music, allowing DJ mixes to be distributed worldwide for the first time in history. This partnership was celebrated by the legendary producer, “Mike Dean“, and received frontpage support from NPR & Dallas Morning News. Prior to this, Jake’s profile steadily rose with original productions, DJ material & unparalled performances nationally.
