Cut, Ink, Create: A Linocut Workshop with Jack Daw

Unleash your creativity and make your mark during a hands-on afternoon of printmaking with artist Jack Daw. In this engaging workshop, Daw will guide guests through the process of linoleum cutting – also known as linocut – a form of relief printmaking where designs are carved into soft linoleum blocks. These blocks are then inked and pressed onto paper using a tool called a baren, transferring the design to create bold, graphic prints.

Participants will create their own bison-themed linocut print, with the freedom to customize their background. Everyone will take home their original artwork, linoleum block and linocutting tool to continue printing at home. No experience necessary and all materials are provided.
