August Monthly Meeting - Workshop on Character

Kylie McIntosh will lead us in a Character Workshop on August 14th.

Join us as we explore one of the defining lenses of fiction: character. We’ll discuss what makes a dynamic and compelling character, character as the root of internal conflict and theme, the differences between types of character arcs and perspectives, and workshop meaningful character mechanics that go beyond basic character worksheets.

Kylie has studied at Texas State with one semester remaining of a bachelors in English Creative Writing and Archeology. Her traditional publications include: educational materials on rhetoric, poetry across various collections, and newspaper articles. She is currently working as a freelance developmental editor and is working on her first novel.

Zoom Meetings are back. Starting this August Meeting, we will resume the option to tune into the Monthly Meetings - now with updated Audio and Visual Equipment!

We will meet at the Black Potion on Fredericksburg. Parking is in the gravel parking lot next to the building, as shown in the picture below.
