Art in the Park: Botanical Drawing

Meet at the Salado Outdoor Classroom. Once gathered and after an introduction, the group will go on a short nature walk into the park to gain some inspiration for the drawing activities. We'll examine plants out in nature, identify, and and draw them inside of small pocket journals to take home.

Encounter the tree that inspired Mayor Phil Hardberger, explore the Borrow Pit, and learn a little bit about these unique features here at Phil Hardberger Park. Please note, this Art in the park includes a nature walk and will be entirely outdoors, weather permitting.

• No art experience is necessary!
• Class size is limited.
• Registration required.

Bring a light folding chair, comfortable shoes, and water to stay hydrated.

**For Teens and Adults who like to be creative! Limited to 20 participants, registration required.
