https://sarinapartridge.com/) joins JVC Leader Marv Zauderer, our Joyful Voices Chorus community choir, and, we hope, YOU 😀 for a wonderful, open-to-the-community night of easy-to-learn songs of hope, belonging, healing, and joy.
As is always true in Marv's groups, you don't need ANY singing experience, there's no music to read because all songs are taught by ear, and there's no pressure or perfectionism about our singing. It's SO. MUCH. FUN.
And we're SO lucky to have Sarina with us! She's a musician, song-leader, educator and activist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota who feels most alive when learning, creating and sharing songs -- especially songs that grow out of time spent in wild places. Sarina has a passion for connecting people with their own creativity and with community, and uses harmony singing as a modality to help folks develop a sense of wonder and belonging in the wild world around us.
Sarina performs and teaches with several music projects/ensembles (Heartwood, Nanilo) and as a solo artist and educator; teaches at music camps (Village Harmony, Songroots, Folklore Village); and leads regular community sings and workshops in and around Minneapolis.
