Thunderstruck! ASU Symphony Orchestra

Prepare to be shaken by rhythm and storm! “Thunderstruck” features the explosive Concerto Fantasy for Two Timpanists by minimalist master Philip Glass, showcasing the commanding talents of Dr. Trent Shuey (Angelo State) and Dr. Lisa Rogers (Texas Tech). The evening opens with the haunting and thrilling Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky, a tone poem of witches and wild spirits. From brooding mystery to percussive power, this concert is a pulse-pounding journey you won’t forget.
