Meagan Crowley is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia & Analgesia. She has been a credentialed technician since 2018, with extensive clinical experience in a small animal specialty referral/emergency setting. Her passions are anesthesia and pain management, with a focus on respiratory physiology & mechanical ventilation. She currently works for Mindray Animal Medical as a Clinical Application Specialist and provides relief work as a technician at VSH in Sorrento Valley. Meagan is committed to providing education through lectures, curated content, and in-person training. She is an advocate for improving technician utilization and believes that sharing knowledge is our most powerful tool for elevating the field.
Mandy is an RVT and VTS in emergency and critical care who works at a large specialty practice in San Diego, California, where she a technician learning and development specialist. Mandy earned her VTS in 2017 and has been in veterinary medicine since 2009. She was in the US Navy prior to veterinary medicine. Mandy enjoys teaching, and has a passion for critical care cases such as distributive shock cases, polytraumas, cardio-respiratory cases, and neonatal and pediatric cases. In her free time she is an avid runner, and takes her two border collies, Whisper and Cannoli on both hikes and runs.
Beth has worked in veterinary medicine for more than 20 years, and along the way she developed a passion for veterinary dentistry. This led her to becoming a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Dentistry, which she achieved in 2020. She feels veterinary dentistry is a bit of an "underdog" and strives to advocate for how important oral health is for our pets. Although veterinary dental care has advanced dramatically in recent years, there remains a gap in education for veterinarians and technicians, leading to many misconceptions and a lack of consistent care. Beth hopes to share her love of dentistry with any fellow tooth nerds who are willing to listen!
Aspirations to advance her anesthesia knowledge led Beth to Veterinary Specialty Hospital, where she currently works in the surgery department. Although she no longer works directly in dentistry, she is frequently caught checking inside a patient's mouth for anything interesting or abnormal. She someday hopes to blend her love for dentistry and anesthesia together to help educate others about leveling up the care they provide in their own practices.
She shares her home with a dainty dachshund mix (Valerie) and a large and in charge black cat (Skippy).
