By Popular Demand: Sound Bath Meditation for Dogs at The Hub

"Puppy yoga" is very popular, but it's more for the benefit of the humans rather than dogs. Sound Bath Meditations are beneficial for both ends of the leash! It's a relatively new concept, but is poised to be the next big trend and The Hub is excited to bring our members an opportunity to experience it!

Jenny Raffield, founder of Choose Happy Wellness, has led two successful sound bath meditations at The Hub already and we're thrilled to be welcoming her back. By the end of our previous sound bath meditations, the dogs and humans were all relaxed and calm (and some even asleep!).

People who have experienced sound bath meditations with their dog in the past have reported that their dog benefited from:

• Relaxation
• Reduced anxiety and stress
• Improved sleep
• Enhanced mood

Jenny has done research into the sounds that are soothing for dogs and has adapted her soundscapes to appeal to the frequencies that are calming for dogs.

• Members with dogs who are able to settle around other dogs with minimal vocalization and who are not noise sensitive.
• Members who want to try something new that benefits their dog and themselves.
• Non-members who want to experience a sound bath in the presence of member dogs.

What to bring to this event?

• A settle mat for your dog (for people who have attended Settling With Distractions class, you can bring the same settle mat)
• A yoga mat and a pillow for yourself
• Optional: A blanket for yourself if you get chilly
