More Talents of San Gabriel Valley

This Admission FREE Concert, presented by the Olympia Youth Orchestra, is generously supported by grants from the Hennings-Fischer Foundation and Colburn Foundation among other donors.

The concert will feature cellist, Josephine Velez, Grand Prize/Noumi Fischer Prize Winner of the 2024 ASTA-LA String Competition Finals. She will be performing the 3rd movement of the Haydn C Major Cello Concerto with the orchestra.

Other young soloists will be violinists Reenie Cao, Mira Chen, Aaron Ho, Jonathan Jhang, Aidan Kwan and Rachel Soong. They will perform works by J.S. Bach, Sarasate and Vivaldi.

The orchestra will conclude the concert with Haydn's Symphony No.85.

This concert is also very special to the orchestra as we will dedicate the performance to pay tribute to and honor 3 of the most important people who passed away this past year. The Honorable Frank W. Chen, Mr. Paul Luke and Ms. Kay Pech.
