On Saturday, December 6, we will be taking over some of the best bars in the city for a jolly 'ol Holiday Pub Crawl complete with cheap drinks, sketchy holiday decorations and even a few gifts for some lucky crawlers. No matter how you celebrate the holidays, throwing back beers, holiday drinks and cruising from bar to bar is something that can be enjoyed by all. Feel free to throw on your best ugly Christmas Sweater, Hanukah-inspired gear or whatever tickles your fancy. Santa Costumes, Naughty Elves and other creative get ups are also welcome. For those who want to embrace the season with a drink in hand, the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl on Saturday, December 6 offers the perfect opportunity to wear your most ridiculous holiday attire and toast to the spirit of the season.

From 4PM to 10PM, take to the streets of San Francisco, hopping between bars decked out in holiday cheer. Whether your sweater features reindeer, Santa’s sleigh, or blinking lights, it’s a chance to celebrate the season in style—or at least in questionable taste.

The evening starts at Mayes Oyster House (1233 Polk Street), the official check-in hub for the event. Here, participants will receive their event wristbands, maps, and festive party favors before setting off to explore more than 10 of the city’s best bars. From cozy dives to lively lounges, each stop promises its own brand of holiday magic.

Every participating bar at Sweatercon offers exclusive drink specials, so whether you’re sipping spiked eggnog, a craft beer, or a seasonal cocktail, your cup will overflow with good cheer. Add in holiday decorations that transform each venue into a winter wonderland, and you’ve got the perfect festive setting for a toast.

Find the hidden gnomes in participating bars to win some sweet prizes (early Christmas presents...Yay!)

From jingle bell necklaces to Santa hats, participants will be outfitted with festive accessories to enhance their holiday spirit—and their Instagram photos.

The Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl comes just a week before the city’s famed Santacon, giving holiday lovers a chance to pre-game (or warm up their wardrobes) before the annual sea of Santas takes over San Francisco.
