Lions Club at the Richmond District YMCA Blood Drive

Hello, Please join us for a blood drive Saturday, May 31 at the Richmond District YMCA 10 am - 2:30 pm in the bloodmobile parked at 360 18th Avenue, San Francisco.

Most of the population is eligible, but less than 3% donate. Recent FDA changes to eligibility guidance, including the Individual Donor Assessment and European travel, may mean those once deferred can give. Details: vitalant.org/eligibility. FIRST TIME DONORS ARE ENCOURAGED!

Donating blood is safe and easy, and only takes about an hour and can potentially save more than one life. Other added benefits of donating blood are a mini-physical and full panel of tests each donor receives, which can be tracked with each visit in the donor’s secure and confidential online account.
