About the event

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do: Featuring the Songs of Neil Sedaka
With the music of Neil Sedaka. At Esther's Paradise, a small resort in the Catskills, in 1960, this is the sweetly comic story of Lois and Marge, two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend.

Lois urges her best friend Marge to look for a new partner after her fiancé leaves her. Gabe, one the resort's employees, falls in love with Marge, although she doesn't notice. The score showcases 18 Neil Sedaka classics, including "Where the Boys Are", "sweet sixteen", "Calendar Girl", "Love Will Keep Us Together", and of course, the chart-topping title song.
