THE TEA CARP:
Inspired by the traditional "Yatai" ramen carts of Fukuoka, the work of Tagami Haruhiko, and the philosophy of the Tea Bus/Edna Lu by Guisepi—this project is a mobilized art installation that seeks to provide a safe ground for persons to merry-make, fill their cups, connect, and share human experiences together.
A wooden tea house, which only leaves memories behind and is intended to bring beings together around points of interest. We offer themed, pop-up B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Cup) tea services. Each tea is made one cup at a time as we hold an appreciation for “slow service”. We savor time, experience, and one another; giving our guests a taste of this with their tea. Once they hand over their cup, visitors can spend qualiTEA time with those around them.
