Feeling Tone is a group exhibition of artists and performers who explore sound and technology as pathways to connection. Presented by sound artist and composer Pamela Martinez / Teletextile—known for her large-scale, site-specific, music-based performances in San Antonio—this show bridges nature, science, and ancestral ties through immersive experiences. Feeling Tone is part of The Listener’s Gallery, an ongoing series dedicated to deep listening & sonic exploration.
Feeling Tone is an immersive space where viewers become participants, dissolving the boundary between interaction and observation, and engaging in the shifting landscapes of sound, sensation, and connection.
The exhibition will include the works of seven artists: Pamela Martinez / Teletextile, Joshua Alexander (Savannah, GA), Miles Friday, Daniel N Jackson, Susan Snipes (Cleveland, OH), Stevan Živadinović & Lety RZ.
RSVP to the Opening night of this exhibition, which will also feature a one-time live performance by experimental composer Miles Friday. Friday's performance will integrate instrumental, electronic, and installation-based sound art, expanding the boundaries of traditional composition and performance. Free entry.
