About the event

Recycling Collection Event
Drop off hard-to-recycle items at this collection event.

This is a joint event between the City of Sammamish and the City of Issaquah, hosted by Eastside Catholic School. Partners include Eastside Catholic School, WA State Department of Ecology, King County Solid Waste Division, King County Hazardous Waste Management Program, and the E-Cycle Washington Program. Event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No vehicles can enter after 3 p.m. Please pack your items so they can be removed quickly from your vehicle.

Items To Be Collected:

Tires

-Limit 6 passenger tires (18 inches and below) per household, free of charge.
-Additional tires are $3 each for off rim and $6 for all passenger tires on rims
-Large truck tires are $15 each for off rim and $30 for truck tires on rims.
-No oversized tires will be accepted.
-All payments must be made in cash.

Electronic/Computer Equipment/TV Sets:

-DVD players, VCRs, stereo equipment, printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, and cellular phones.
-Computers, computer monitors, laptops, mice, keyboards, tablets, and e-readers.
-TV sets encased in plastic, wood console, sets encased in wood, and big screen TVs accepted.
-Please remember to remove all personal information from electronic devices prior to collection.
-For free regular collection of computer, monitors, and televisions please visit EcycleWA.org

Lead Acid Batteries

-Car, truck, marine, motorcycle, and sealed lead acid batteries will all accepted.
-Alkaline Batteries
-AAAA, AAA, AA, A, B, C, and D cell alkaline batteries will all accepted.
-No rechargeable, cell phone, nicad , or lithium-ion (like tool or vape batteries) batteries will be accepted.

Rain Barrel, Compost, and Worm Bin Sale:
-Rain Barrels: rain barrels capture water from a roof and hold it for later use such as on lawns, gardens, or indoor plants. This conserves water, saves money, and reduces water runoff.
-Compost Bins: backyard compost bins allow you to easily turn food and yard waste into nutrient-rich soil or mulch that can be used in home gardens or lawns.
-Worm Bins: Also referred to as vermicomposting, worm bins are another way to turn household food waste into compost.
-All items for sale at $30 and can only be purchased with cash. ---Please provide exact change.
