We will go to Saltsburg Canoe Outfitters (
http://saltsburgkayak.com ) for a gentle 8-mile, flat-water canoe trip on the Conemaugh River. Life jackets are provided. Arrive by 11:15 AM so we have time to get organized and sign the forms prior to boarding the shuttle bus. Bring a cold drink and a lunch, and wear sunscreen. We will eat our lunch at a wooded stop along the way.
Each canoe or tandem kayak will have two occupants. Single kayaks have one occupant. You can select a canoe mate, or we will pair someone up with you. Reservation deadline is May 17. Fill out the form below and send it to the address indicated. If weather forces cancellation, we will call you. But light showers do not usually cancel the trip.
