Step into the world of Viking Skinningrove with a full day of hands-on fun for all the family!

Join the Land of Iron army for exciting activities and workshops that explore the history, skills and stories of our local Viking past.

Get crafty with your very own handheld loom and learn how the Vikings used to weave.
Create your own shield using Viking myths and legends for inspiration.
See history in action with live demonstrations of Viking weapons and armour - and even have a go yourself!
Fighting demonstrations take place at the following times:
