Hinderwell and Staithes circular

Loftus Accord Walking Group invites you to join them on a walk from Cowbar celebrating our social and industrial heritage ,with great views of our stunning coast and countryside.

Led by Harry and Kath Waring ,Loftus Accord's most experienced walk leaders, this 7 mile circular walk will show how natural resources and geology have influenced the history and development of the area.

We will leave Cowbar lay -by and follow the path to Dalehouse, stopping at St Hilda's Well for a brief lunch stop, then continuing to Port Mulgrave and returning via the King Charles 111 England Coast Path to Staithes and on to Cowbar.

Please bring light refreshments and wear suitable clothing and footwear for predominantly off road walking. This walk includes some steep ascents and descents.

There is a suggested voluntary donation of £3.00 per person towards the running costs of the group would be welcome.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Bus stops nearby ( Arriva X4).There is some limited car parking in the lay -by . Nearby paid car parking - we suggest car sharing whenever possible.
