Shelder the Electric Clamfish at Tea à Tempo

Come catch local celebrity mollusk Shelder the Electric Clamfish at the weekly Tea à Tempo Concert Series at All Saints by the Sea.

Shelder the Electric Clamfish is a multi-instrumentalist and storyteller residing on the traditional, unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the Hul’qumi’num and SENCOTEN speaking peoples. With four Canadian tours under her belt, she performs her eclectic-art-folk compositions, drawing inspiration from her travels as a musician and from historical Canadian legends and folk tales. After residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Shelder began incorporating traditional East-coast music into her own compositions, blending familiar sounds with a new deep-sea folk-punk energy to perform epic fantastical folktales. She is excited to be joined by a full band of musicians all from Salt Spring Island, with Sam Schuette on bass, Brandon Bronson on drums, and Simon Millerd on trumpet.

Music starts at 2:10pm, by donation, with tea and treats available afterwards for $5.
