AJ Irving: The Bi Book

Bring your whole family to celebrate the release of AJ Irving's newest children's book for a reading and party at Under the Umbrella Bookstore! AJ will be reading the book and chatting about writing inclusive stories for kids.

There will be treats, flags and stickers, and activities for kiddos!

• Ticket is required to attend.
• Book purchase through UTU is required to participate in the signing.

As this is a local author event, book purchase is not required but strongly encouraged to support local queer writers!

About AJ Irving

A.J. Irving grew up in Boise, Idaho, writing stories and daydreaming about becoming an author. Now, she writes picture books and poetry beneath an old elm tree in Salt Lake City. A.J. is the critically acclaimed author of , , and The Bi Book (Knopf BFYR, May 20, 2025).

As a children’s author and former bookmobile librarian, A.J. is passionate about inspiring kids to love books.
