Gardening Foundations - Planning your Summer Garden

Come learn with our Garden educators, Sue and Elmarie as they discuss how to get the most out of your summer garden and how best to take care of it through the hot summer months.

Sue will provide a tour of the garden and show the planning involved and the crops we grow. Discuss pruning summer crops, thinning, managing pests etc. Q&A encouraged.

Elmarie will discuss how the Teaching Garden is a great example of how to plan a garden to fit one’s needs, including the maintenance and succession planting.

We will serve a Souper Meals Meal _ Japanese Curry with Beef and rice on the side as well as other refreshments.
Bring your own bowls and cutlery please
