Gardening Foundations - Planning for Fall

Come Learn with Us at the Shuswap Community Teaching Garden. Sunday, Aug 24th, Sue and Elmarie will be on-site to teach more about:
-Seed Saving - harvesting, storing and how to keep your seeds viable
-Cover Crops: selection, usage/benefits and planting timelines
-Garlic Planting: how to, bed prep and when to plant!

This is a bit of a bitter sweet time of year. We're in the beauty and abundance of the Summer garden and yet the discussion about Fall gardens is here and winter prep is next. Sigh...
But... It's a great time to reflect, learn and make plans for future gardens!
