October Adopt a Street Cleanup and Grounds Work

Join Fame Preservation Group for our monthly Adopt a Street Cleanup on the first Saturday of the month where we'll be picking up litter along North Lee Street beginning and ending at historic Old Lutheran Cemetery.

Afterwards, a volunteer team will be conducting ground work in cleaning up brush along the exterior of the wall to Old Lutheran Cemetery on railroad property with permission from Norfolk Southern.

If anyone is interested, please bring hedge trimmers, W**d eaters, and other outdoor tools equipped for removing high weeds and trimming back brush as we plan to transform the hillside landscape into a more presentable site for the benefit of historical preservation.
