If you have ever wanted to learn to knit or just need a refresher, now is your chance in this FREE, hands-on beginner workshop. Participants will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. Led by the museum staff Raye-Valion Gillette and Alexandra Kean, the workshop also covers how to read simple patterns, choose the right yarn and needles, and troubleshoot common beginner mistakes. By the end of the session, you’ll have the skills and confidence to start your first project.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Come curious and leave inspired with something handmade to show off!
