This is the third concert in the five evening + Evensong programme for this year's Festival. The event features pianist Joanna Krauze, who will play a programme including
Bach's French Suite no. 5 in G-major BWV 816 and
French Overture in B-minor, BWV 831, and Beethoven's Sonata A-flat major op. 110.
Joanna is a Polish pianist and organist, and has performed both as a soloist and a chamber musician in Poland, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Canada.
Joanna has gained a number of prestigious qualifications, including a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London (2018), a Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy at the Music Academy in Basel (2020), a Master of Arts in Specialized Music Performance - Soloist at the Music Academy in Basel (2022), and a
Master’s degree programme in Organ Performance from the University of Arts in Zürich (2024).
She has won main prizes in several piano competitions, including two special prizes and the title of the Finalist in the 10. International Bach Piano Competition in Würzburg.
