Students in Training (SiT), a non-profit 501c3 charity, is hosting a Back to School Bazaar on August 2, 2025, from 11:00am until 4:00pm. This event will be held at Christ United Methodist Church located at 3401 Mooresville Rd. Salisbury, NC 28147. We will be giving out desktop computers and laptops to families in our community that lack access to modern technology, with a focus on low-income families. Local Organizations and businesses will be distributing information about child and youth services, and many will be giving out school supplies.
This is a free event for attendees. No tickets will be needed to attend the event.
We are seeking additional vendors for this event. Non-profits and for-profit companies that provide youth services/programs can set up a booth at no cost, get a booth with any sponsorship level. Companies that don’t offer child-based services and programs are still welcome with a Gold level sponsorship or higher. This is a great opportunity to network with local non-profits while giving students what they need for the school year. A few examples of businesses we are looking for are: afterschool programs, tutoring services, homeschool associations, preschools, day cares, camps and creators of child friendly products. We ask that each vendor brings at least one specific school supply when registering, this isn’t required but greatly appreciated. Our goal is to have every family walk out of this event with a backpack full of supplies and community information.
The Back to School Bazaar is seeking sponsorships to help us fund creative transportation needs for families to get to the event, security, entertainment and shirts. Tax deductible donations are also accepted.

School supply donations are accepted for the event at our offices Monday - Thursday 1pm - 6pm. 1600 Brenner Ave Salisbury, NC 28144. Our offices are located across from the VA entrance. The parking lot in on S Link Ave
Electronic equipment donations is support of preparing computer donations to the community are also accepted
