About the Workshop
Every cell in your body is in constant vibration, like a living symphony. Science tells us these vibrations can slow the mind’s busy rhythms, soothe the nervous system, and restore harmony on a cellular level. Research suggests they can also influence heart rate, breathing patterns, and even cellular activity, creating a holistic sense of well-being.
In the first hour of the workshop, Neil will talk about the science behind sound, frequency, and vibration, so we can develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the sound bath experience.
This will be followed by a full hour of immersive sound bath led by Cindy, where you’ll be bathed in the soothing tones of gongs, crystal bowls, and other healing instruments—allowing your mind and body to settle into deep rest and renewal.We’ll close the afternoon with tea and biscuits, giving you time to ground, connect, and share your experience in a warm, friendly setting.

What to Bring to the Workshop
Bring your yoga mat, a blanket or extra layers of clothing or blankets with you to keep warm and create your most comfortable space then lie down, let the sound vibrations wash away stress and find balance again from within.
About Neil and Cindy
Neil Barker is an Acupuncturist and Spinal Therapist, and a retired yoga teacher who spent 28 years teaching and travelling in Asia. During that time, he was blessed to meet many high-level masters on the path. He now shares that wisdom in a down-to-earth and practical way. Neil’s teaching and personal practice currently focus on Spinal Flow Technique and breathwork.
Cindy Lin Barker began her yoga journey in 2002. Her calm and gentle teaching style helps students feel relaxed and comfortable. She combines her background in Western sports science with ancient Eastern knowledge to create balanced and accessible classes. Cindy teaches yoga and runs sound bath workshops. Cindy is currently training to become a Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapist, with the aim of helping people live healthier lives and feel more connected to themselves.
