It's about time! Make plans to join other show in the Frankfurt Alumni Concert Series for the classes of 67-73 in Salina, Kansas, YES, KANSAS!!! No Toto jokes, please. If you've never attended a show at the Historic Stiefel Theatre in Salina, KS WHAT ARE YOU WAITING ON? Just ask any alum who has attended a previous mini for Three Dog Night, America, and/or The Monkees. It's a beautiful venue with a seating capacy of 1500, so there really isn't a bad seat.
Plans are in the preliminary stages but here is what is being considered:
Friday October 31 - Wichita
Arrive and check in to hotel (TBD)
Afternoon get the lay of the land. Research things to do in downtown Wichita.
Welcome social and dinner at 6S Steakhouse (pay as you go)
Saturday November 1 - Breakfast on your own. Hotel may include it depending on our where we stay.
Group visit to AOSHS.
Free time to explore Old Town area, museums, shopping, and local eateries.
Evening heading to Intrust Bank Arena to watch the Wichita Thunder vs. Florida Everblades hockey team.
Sunday November 2 - Breakfast and checkout before heading to Salina. Plenty of time to still enjoy downtown Wichita or head north to Salina. Check-in time at Homewood Suites is 3PM.
Since our usual restaurant is closed on Sunday, dinner will be on your own.
Doors open at 6:30PM at The Stiefel Theatre for Boz Scaggs starting at 7:30PM.
