Join our charity on a mile walk in Salford and help us secure our future.
For over ten years, Emmaus Salford has provided a home, support and work opportunities for people with experience of homelessness.
We provide a pantry for more than 400 families in need, a school uniform hub for parents and carers, and a training centre to help local people into work.
Now the lease on our building at 101 Fitzwarren Street in Pendleton in Salford will expire February 2028, we urgently need your help to raise vital funds to move or refurbish our home.
Will you walk with us to support our appeal?
“Before I came to Emmaus, the weather was turning so I’m having to walk places and I’m wet and I’m having to sleep places while I’m still wet. You’re cold, you’re wet and you’re miserable and then next thing you’ve got to do it all over again.
“We’re trying to keep Emmaus charity going as well as we can and secure its future.”
Malcolm is now going to college to study psychology and helps Emmaus Salford support people’s wellbeing at the charity’s Minds And Manes barber’s shop.
By walking with us you’ll be showing your support for Emmaus Salford services that have helped 775 people move on from homelessness, provided 31,000 hours of support conversations and given out 4,700 meals, clothes, shoes and lunches.
