Mutations is back with our biggest booking yet.
We have an extended DJ set from Berlin based Curses; who is known for blending the nostalgia of new wave, EBM and energetic italo disco with flashes of post punk, acid and live ghostly vocals over DJ sets. Curses’s intuition and experience allows him to adapt to different environments - keeping the dancefloor moving - whilst maintaining authentic storytelling across multiple genres. From heavy hitting body music to the nostalgia of italo and proto house.
As well as performing at iconic spaces/events such as Ombra Festival, Grauzone Festival, Nuits Sonores, Berghain/Panorama bar, he is also responsible for the acclaimed vinyl compilation series Next Wave Acid Punx showcasing a passion for body music, new beat, post punk and proto trance.
On top of his prolific productions/remixes; he set up his own label Ombra International in 2016. This platform encourages artists to produce post punk and new wave sounds alongside heavily suggestive acid influences.
