Free networking event bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, & digital enthusiasts to explore future digital healthcare

About this Event

The event will explore key themes in research and innovation, education, digital inequalities, and the future of care in a digitally enabled society. Highlights include a Three-Minute PhD/DProf Thesis session, showcasing inspiring examples from clinical practice, a panel discussion on fundamental digital developments and specialist knowledge in health and social care, and a keynote address on future digital innovations and their impact on patient care. The event will conclude with networking and refreshments, celebrating the dedication and innovation of health professionals working in the digital space.

Keynote address: Helen Balsdon – Chief Nursing information Officer at NHS England.

Helen’s work seeks to ensure that nursing and midwifery practice is supported by digital technology and data science and that nurses and midwifes are equipped to work and lead in an digitally enabled environment. Helen is passionate about using technology to support the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care and empowering patients in managing their own health record. Alongside nursing and midwifery, Helen's leadership portfolio includes frontline digitisation, digital citizen and maternity and child health.

This event is free and is an opportunity to network with senior nurse/ AHP leaders in digital health. Provides an opportunity to be updated on latest research and trends in digital nursing theory and practice.
