BREA Volunteer Opportunity!!
XC Course Clean up and Clinic Set Up (August 28th @4:00PM-??)
Where: Greenhill Park Equestrian Center
Tasks:
1. Weedeating
2. Mowing around ditch area and bank (need somebody to bring push mower or riding mower....or we will be doing a lot more weedeating)
3.Jump maintenance and assembly (hammering/screwing in loose nails), filling holes, making sure jumps look safe and flagging ones that are too far gone.
4. Steeplechase jump assembly! (smaller optional task)
5. Lopping down low hanging branches (need to bring lopping shears)!
6. Stadium set up for Saturday.
*We need trucks and AWD vehicles to get across the creek and to move equipment and jumps around!
*We need tools such hammers and drills
*We need at least one push mower or riding lawn mower.
*Extra weedeaters are always helpful
*BRING Work gloves and wear the proper attire (long pants, closed toed shoes.
*BRING hearing protection as well if you would like (weedeaters and mowers allowed)
*BRING your positive attitude and put a smile on! We will make this fun!
