Salem Poetry Project at Marco Polo featuring Savorings by Lois Rosen

Join Lois Rosen and friends for a celebration of Savorings, her newest book. Lois Rosen’s poems are nothing less than a joy to read, bittersweet musings on life and love threaded through memories of girlhood in a working-class Jewish family. This rich collection begins with the poet’s birth in a toilet in a Yonkers hospital (really) and ends with contemplations on the vagaries of aging.

For the months of November through February the Salem Poetry Project will meet at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. The restaurant’s address is 300 Liberty St SE, Salem and the reading will be in the banquet room.
