RTJ Thursday Social Run

For this month’s Thursday Social Run we are going to be attending the #RuntheStreetsMCR and #Mileshyclub party run and quiz. This is a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mileshy-x-rts-saveourmentalhealthgroup-tickets-1330945938129

We will meet at the Waterside in Sale at 6:30pm for a disco run and there will be a quiz afterwards.

The event has been organised to raise funds to help save the Mile Shy Club Mental Health Group which has recently had their funding withdrawn.

MileShyClub is a charity which supports people to move more to improve their physical and mental health. They specifically focus on people with long term health conditions, disabilities and those from underrepresented communities. They are known for their Couch to 5k clubs, but also operate beginner walking clubs and mental health groups.

Many of our running friends are members of Mile Shy or have previously ran with them and so it would be great to support them.
