Rowan Stuart & Florian Desbaillet (double bill)

We are delighted to host a cross-cultural and international evening of music on Tuesday 15 July, as Rowan Stuart (South Africa) and Florian Desbaillet (Switzerland) perform a double bill as part of the venue's popular "Every Folkin' Tuesday" series.

Rowan Stuart is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who performs a signature style of 'story-driven dream folk pop'. Based in Paignton, Devon, Rowan has steadily been building a following since moving to the United Kingdom in 2024, and his latest 3 singles were each featured on BBC Radio Introducing. This will be his third appearance at The Old Warehouse, and he looks forward to bringing new material to the stage.

Florian Desbaillet will be bringing his explosive and dynamic fingerstyle guitar playing to the people of Kingsbridge for the first time, all the way from Switzerland, as part of his 2025 UK mini tour. With over 30 years of experience and love for music and guitar playing, Florian transitioned from performing rock music in various bands and projects, to exploring the acoustic guitar as a one-instrument-orchestra.

Despite pursuing a traditionally mellow instrument, he never lost his former sensibilities, as can be heard in his fingerstyle interpretations of several rock classics, as well as his original compositions.
