ORCHESTRE MÉTROPOLITAIN & YANNICK NÉZET-SÉGUIN @ FASS 2025

Le passage de l’Orchestre Métropolitain sous notre Grand Chapiteau est une tradition prisée des festivaliers et l'occasion de grandes réjouissances musicales. Dirigé par Yannick Nézet-Séguin, l’OM interprètera un programme composé de pièces favorites et d’œuvres moins connues.: Symphonie no.4 de Mendelssohn, intitulée «l’Italienne», l’Oiseau de feu d’Igor Stravinski, l’Ouverture no.2 de Louise Ferenc et l’interlude L’amour et la nuit d’Augusta Holmès.

The Orchestre Métropolitain's appearance under our Big Top is a much-loved tradition among festival-goers, and an occasion for great musical rejoicing. Conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, the OM will perform a programme of favourites and lesser-known works: Mendelssohn's Symphony no.4, entitled ‘l'Italienne’, Igor Stravinsky's Firebird, Louise Ferenc's Overture no.2 and Augusta Holmès's interlude L'amour et la nuit.
