The purpose of this draw is to help generate some steady funds for the Charlotte County SPCA Animal Shelter and help offset general costs for food, litter, and vet care. A little goes a long way for us. At the same time, you can win 50% of the pot while supporting your local animal shelter.

Rules of Play
- The CCSPCA 50/50 is open to the public and subject to the Provincial Laws and Regulations.
- The location of the game, and the draws for each round will take place at CCSPCA Animal Shelter, 112 Prince William Street, St Stephen NB.
- The game board will be a whiteboard mounted at the entrance of the shelter. There will be 100 squares drawn on the whiteboard and numbered from 1 to 100.
- Each square costs $5.00
- To play, people can buy a square, and choose a number between 1 and 100, and that is their number for the round. The Shelter Ambassador will record players’ name and phone number.*
- Players can purchase a block (or multiple) with cash or card at the shelter.
- E-Transfers can be addressed to
Y2NzcGNhIHwgYWlibiAhIG5iICEgY29t. Players must include their name, phone number, and choice of square number on the game board in the description.
- If the number has already been bought by another player, a number will be chosen at random by the Shelter Ambassador.
- The block number will be marked as “sold” with a magnet on the game board.
- Each transaction/block purchase will be recorded on a list by the Shelter Ambassador for each round.
- The draw will take place every two weeks from the “selling start date” (February 02, 2026) on the Friday morning at 11:00 am. A draw schedule is provided
- Tickets will be available for sale until the Thursday at 5 pm (day before the draw date).
- After a number is drawn, the person who bought that number wins the round and the prize money.
- Only numbers from the gameboard that were purchased will be in the draw. Numbers that were not purchased, will not be in the draw.
- The Shelter Ambassador will call the winner via phone before the raffle results are announced on the CCSPCA Facebook page:

- The revenue from the round is split 50/50, with half going to the CCSPCA Animal Shelter and the other half of the revenue will be the prize money for the winner of the round.
- A cheque will be issued by the Shelter Manager for the winner of the round to pick up from the CCSPCA Animal Shelter at 112 Prince William Street, St Stephen NB.
CCSPCA may request for proof of identification. **
- At the end of each round, all the magnets will come off the game board, and the square numbers will go back up for sale, and the game starts again. *
- Participants do not automatically keep the same number for every round. However, players can prepay for a square number of their choice for any number of rounds listed below for 2026.

- Players must be at least 19 years old.
- Only individuals are permitted to participate in the CCSPCA 50/50.
- Players must be within New Brunswick to purchase tickets/block numbers.
- A draw schedule is provided below. If for any circumstance, the draw does not take place as scheduled, it will take place at the earliest opportunity.
- A number will only be marked as sold when the transaction is completed by the player.
- Square purchases are non-refundable.
- The player who wins the prize money, they consent to their names being shared with the 50/50 results on the CCSPCA Facebook page,

- Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the prize winner. If the winnings are unclaimed after 90 days from the draw date, the pot will be added to the next available round. **
- After a square number purchase via e-Transfer, a follow-up via phone confirming the number requested in the description is not guaranteed. The player may contact the Shelter Ambassador if the player wants confirmation.
