Join ElderPride at the Maple, First Taste of Spring event at Kings Landing. Explore three of the heritage homes in the village, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride, eat fresh maple candy made on snow, and finish up with a fundraiser breakfast on site. This event is for 2SLGBTQI+ seniors and adults.
DATE: March 15, 2026 (Sunday)
LOCATION: Kings Landing Historical Village, 5804 Route 102, 5804 NB-102, Prince William, NB E6K 0A5
TIME: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (not including travel). We will meet outside the entrance at 9:55 am (entrance opens at 10).

TICKETS: Email RSVP is required as limited tickets are available for this event, and it often sells out. You must RSVP by email with the following information by emailing Amelia at elderpridenb[at]gmail.com at least 72 hours in advance or by messaging ElderPride on Facebook. Spots are limited and tickets may be sold out if you do not RSVP early.
If you are new to the program, please specify if you are over or under 45 years of age, and if you are over 65 (the age requirement for senior tickets). 2SLGBTQ+ individuals over 65 and over 45 will be prioritized if reach capacity.

The tickets will be purchased in advance, and we will meet at the entrance and go in together.
Elderpride is an intergenerational 2SLGBTQI+ program with a focus on seniors.
ACCESSIBILITY:
- There will be ASL interpretation.
- The main street we will be walking is 1.1km one way with rest stops along the route, followed by a wagon ride back. Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available at the Welcome Centre on a first-come, first-served basis. We expect there will be the option to take the wagon both ways if preferred.
- Breakfast options will be limited to what is available at the Shriner's fundraiser breakfast on site. We cannot guarantee the menu or availability of options for all dietary requirements.
- If you require a drive (or can offer a drive) please reach out via email or Facebook messenger and we'll do our best to arrange carpooling and ridesharing.
