Elfcapade 2025 – An Interactive Christmas Story Walk

Elfcapade is our annual Interactive Christmas Story Walk in downtown St. Peter, always held on the first Saturday in December. Since 2019, this event has been well attended and has become a treasured tradition for families.
Each year brings a brand-new booklet with an original story for children to collect and experience as they visit participating businesses.
This year, children will help Mrs. Claus’s gingerbread cookie, Crumb, come to life. Five playful elves have scattered the Ingredients of Joy across town — Kindness, Sharing, Warmth, Laughter, and Love — and they need young helpers to find them.
Families will visit five local stops, enjoy hands-on activities, find a mischievous elf, collect special cookie pieces, and finish the adventure at Jake’s Pizza, where each child will assemble and decorate their very own gingerbread friend.
This storybook journey highlights the magic of downtown St. Peter, with stops including:
• A ribbon of Kindness at Her Happy Place
• Sparkling Sharing at Julee’s Jewelry
• Cozy Warmth at Blue Valley Clay
• A snowball-silly Laughter stop at The Pulse
• And the final ingredient — Love — waiting at Jake’s Pizza
