Haughty Hazelnut was accepted into the Black Burlesque Festival happening in London, UK at the end of October, and she needs your help to get there! You can do that by joining Haughty at The Amsterdam Bar and Hall on Thursday, September 25th at 8pm. She’s bringing her best, brightest, and most audacious friends for a night of adventurous burlesque in downtown Saint Paul to celebrate her next big opportunity across the sea.
All funds from this show will go towards Haughty’s travel fund to help her cover necessary airfare and other travel expenses.
Haughty Hazelnut is a Black & Queer internationally traveling burlesque performer based in Minneapolis, MN. Newly crowned “Future Icon” at the Wales Burlesque Festival in 2024, this beauty is known as the ‘Sweetest Treat in Burlesque’. Haughty also won ‘Most Classic’ at the 11th Annual Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival in 2023, and is a curator of the monthly figure drawing club, Dr. Sketchy’s Minneapolis.
The Black Burlesque Festival is a burlesque festival where the melanated are celebrated! This festival brings together performers from all over the world for networking, classes, panels showcases, and more during UK Black History Month.
