Seed collection at Capitol Region Watershed District HQ

This in-person seed collection event is a great opportunity to learn about local plants and how to ethically collect native pollinator plant seeds. Explore the beautiful and functional Capitol Region Watershed grounds while gathering seeds from various plants. Our activities will contribute to the Bee Line and MN SEED Projects and you will be able to take home seeds for yourself too! We will also touch on seed storage, seed cleaning and winter sowing techniques. Don't miss out on a chance to connect with nature in the city and support a unique collective seed conservation effort.
